Corporation
The corporation is the most important form of ownership.
Why? perhaps the major reason is the size of most corporations and their financial impact on our modern economy.
What makes the corporate form of ownership so important to business? The answer is that the corporation is regarded,at least from a lagal stand-point,as an artificial being that has the right to conduct business affairs in its own name.In addition, the corporation can exist for an indefinite period of time.It is also able to enter into
contracts, file suits,be sued and do anything else a regular person might do in conducting a business.
